This describes the 40 vital points that are common. I have not described how to strike those points because this is a reference guide and these methods should be taught with supervision. To ensure safety.!!!!  I strongly recommend against the misuse of this knowledge. This is for educational purposes only. The author assumes no liability. This is at the reader sole discretion. "SEEK DIRECT SUPERVISION UNDER A QUALIFIED INSTRUCTOR"!!!

Vital area descriptions

Tendo:  Also known as the sacred gates. Located at the crown of the head, at the coronal suture. It should not be stuck due to the fatal nature. The frontal bone can be dislocated causing severe damage to the motor regions of the brain. Which can cause paralysis or death.

Tento:  Located at the fontanelle space between the crown of the head and forehead.  A hard blow to this area can cause fatal damage to the brain.

Komekami: The temple located on both sides of the head. The weakest structure of the skull. Which can cause hemorraging of the meningeal artery. Results coma or death.

Mimi: Ears. A concussive slap to the ears can cause pain disoreintation. Plus rupture the ear drums.

Miken: The summit of the nose in the center of the forehead. Strong blows to this area can shock the frontal lobes. A strong enough blow will result in fatality.

Seidon: Circumorbital region above and below the eyes. Causing shock the frontal lobes resulting in unconsciousness.

Gansei: Eyeballs. clearly a weak point. which can cause watering, blindness, guages and the most severe displacements may be used.

Jinchu: Intermaxillary suture just under the nose. A light blow can cause pain, watery eyes, and disruption in most people. Strong blows can shock the upper jawbones into the braincase causing unconsciousness or death.

Gekon: Center of the lower jawjust beneath the lower lip. A blow here can shock the lower jaw into the inner ear shaking the brain. Injuries can cause broken teeth, jaw dislocation, whiplash, dizziness unconsiousness. Plus death can result from disrupting the spinal structure with a hard enough blow.

Mikazuki: Base of the jaw or mandible. Like Gekon blows can dislocate or break the jaw. In the correct angle permanent paralysis can be caused in which ever side is struck.

Dokko: Located at the mastoid process, behind the ears at the sides of the neck. Results facial, nerve damage and rapid disorientation.

Keichu: Back or nape of the neck. The weakest point in the spinal column. Disorientation, unconsciousness, paralyisis or death can result depending upon the angle of the blow.

Matsukaze: Carotid artery. Located at the side of the neck in front of the sternocleidomastoid muscle, a blow to this area can disrupt baroreceptors, which regulate bloodpressure flow to the brain. (This is to advanced to go into detail on this page)!

Hichu: Base of the throat (adams apple) or projection of the thyriod cartilage of the larynx, or suprasternal notch. The windpipe is extremely vulnerable at this location.

Danchu: Located at the summit of the breastbone, where the manubruim and the sternum meet.. A strong blow here can cause trama to the heart, lungs, bronchus, lungs, thoracic nerves and pulmonary arteries. Leading to death.

Kyosen: Xiphoid process. Striking this point can severly bruise the liver, heart, and stomach leading to unconsciousness, or the worse death.

Suigetsu: Solar Plexus. Just below the xiphoid process. shocking the diaphragm. Disrupting the reciepients breathing. a powerful blow can cause internal breathing, in the stomach, liver. Leading to severe pain. An even death.

Kyoei: Located at the subaxillary region below the armpits. Approx the spot between the 5th and 6th rib. Can cause shock to th lungs disrupting breathing.

Ganchu: Spot below the nipples at the ends of the 5th and 6th ribs. Blows here can fracture the ribs rupturing the lungs. Making breathing extremly difficult.

Denko: Located at the hypochondraic region between the 7th and 8th ribs. approximately one hand width below the solar plexus. A blow to the right side, can damage the liver. A blow to the left side damage the stomach or spleen causing interal bleeding. Either blow has fatal consequences.

Ushiro Denko: Kidneys. A strong blow to the kidneys can cause internal bleeding, shock, and even death.

Iazuma: Floating ribs. The eleventh and twelfth are only attached at one end. Making them vulnerable to breakage.

Myojo: At the tanden. Appoximately one inch below the navel. Can damage the bladder, or large intestine. Effects extreme pain and loss of bladder control.

Wanshun: Back of the arm, located at the top outer edge of the upper arm. A strike to this area can effect the radial nerve, causing pain and weakness.

Hijizume: Elbow joint. A strike to the area about an inch above the elbow will effect the ulnar nerve (funny bone).

Kote: Wrist. the joint can be dislocated, and or hyperextended resulting in temporary, or permanent loss of use of the hand.

Uchijakuzawa: Located on the inside of the wrist where the pulse can be felt. A blow here can effect the median nerve producing pain and weakness. Arteries this close are vulnerable to weapon strikes. The joint can be dislocated or hyperextended.

Sotojakzawa:  Outside (back) of the wrist. A blow to this area can also affect the median nerve. Producing pain , weaknessin grip. It to can be dislocated or hyperextended.

Shuko:  Located on the back of the hand.  The radial nerve is expose between the thumb and index finger, and the radial and ulnar nerves meet between the knuckles of the middle and ring fingers. A sharp blow to  these area will cause pain and weakness. Though a powerful strike will damage the delicate bones on the back of the hand. The finger are also targets.

Kinteki:  Base of attack the groin. severe blows to this area can cause, extreme pain, shock, nausea, vomiting, unconsciousness, and even death. This is known as the forbidden point. A grabbing at the this area will incapacitate.
