Martial Science

The information provided on this site is for educational, and reference purposes only. I feel that a lot of the martial sciences has been lost throughout the ages. Due to language barriers, or "God bless". The ancient masters or pioneers who have passed on.

 My family has been devoted to some form of martial arts training.  Goju Ryu, Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, as well as Southern styles of gung fu. Circular  in nature. Such styles, like Taijiquan,Xingyi Quan, Pa kua Chaun and Wing chun. Are of the most common for conditioning the internal being .It has also been said that goju-ryu is derived from these types of gung-fu. We also practice goju-ryu  Which works on the internal and external conditioning at the same time. After studying gung-fu and practicing goju-ryu. I have come to conclude myself. That if we expand even upon the concepts of gung-fu. It can expand on the hidden secrets of goju-ryu.

Example using the concept from (taijiquan chin na) 13 postures: Peng,Lu,An,Ji,Cai,Lie,Zhou,Kou,Jin Bu,Tui Bu,Zuo Gu, You Pan, Zhong Ding.

Apply as a foundation of grappling, push hands technique, muchimi techniques.

Like the site name fists of iron, explains strength and hardness(GO) Hands of water, open hand techniques are softer and quick to respond, blend with, or yeild opposing force(JU).

"Goju ryu" Literally translates as the Hard and Soft way of the infinite fist. It is mainly used as CQB "close quaters combat. It employs a practitioner to combine using the hardest parts of his body to attack the softest parts of his adversary. As well as vice versa. To brutally maim,dislocate,or break the offending limbs of the attacker. In hand to hand combat the student will learn to use his or her fist,fingers,knuckle fingers,forearms,elbows,hips,knees,shins,and feet mostly. A practitioners body will learn to tense the body like iron,and combat an adversary by adapting his movements with a fluidness as in water.
